Is your organization a 501c3?
Yes! The Bethlehem-Tondabayashi Sister City Commission is a registered 501c3 Nonprofit Organization.

What is your organization's mission?
To provide the citizens of Bethlehem and its surrounding communities with a better understanding of Japanese culture, and celebrate our decades-long friendship with our historic Japanese sister city.

Who runs this organization?

The Bethlehem-Tondabayashi Sister City Commission is managed by a board of commission members which meets the qualifications set in place by the City of Bethlehem for a non-profit sister city organization located and operated in the Bethlehem Area. This includes roles such as (but not limited to) Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary. These members are voted on and approved by the City of Bethlehem on a term basis.

How can I partner/get involved with BTSCC?

You can partner with us by volunteering at our Cherry Blossom Festivals, applying as a Host Family during our Student Exchange Program, or simply donating to our efforts of sharing and celebrating the rich culture of our Japanese sister city of Tondabayashi, Japan!
