Special Guests
A big thank you to Tomoe Sato-san from the Consulate-General of Japan in New York for attending and giving his opening remarks at our festival!
Shumei America and Iroha Taiko Group also brightened our festival with their lively drumming and energy healing! Visit the Shumei America Facebook page for more info if you're interested in learning Japanese taiko drumming, or if have an interest in natural agriculture and spiritual healing.

Donations
How can I make a donation?
Send us a message of interest via our Contact page! Donations are accepted as cash and check via postal address, which will be sent in reply to your message of interest. Please make checks out to "The Bethlehem-Tondabayashi Sister City Commission". Donation boxes are also set up around the garden during our annual Cherry Blossom Festival. We are currently working to incorporate a digital contribution option for our donors as well!
What does my money go toward when I make a donation?
Donations are put toward maintaining the Garden of Serenity and attractions for our annual Cherry Blossom Festival, for which we work to maintain accessibility and affordability for all visitors! Proceeds are also used to fund our Student Exchange Program activities, which allows visiting Japanese students to have a fun and educational experience learning about Bethlehem, engaging with new friends, and exchanging culture.
